This project involved using only type to create a portrait. I chose to do the singer P!nk. I chose to use some of her promotional art for her 2017 album as I though it encapsulated her work and personality very well. I began with scanning my sketch and outlining the entire figure with a medium weight sans-serif font. I then used layers of a light-weight sans-serif font create value.
